I remember when i was at school i did a science experiment do determine plant growth rate under different coloured light (using red, blue, green etc) cellophane. I used bean sprouts to test this on and i cant quite remember the results only that under a certain colour a plant would grow quicker ( cant remember which colour wouldnt be hard to find out).

Do you think this principle work with marijuana, say if you made a cellophane box around a grow light (probs a cfl or low heat emitting) with the colour would the plant grow faster? Is anyone on here knowlegeable on this sort of stuff? I remember that under one light (might have been blue or red
/?) one bean sprout grew remarkably taller and quicker than the others...

yeh ok.

say if you were growing under cfls, would it be beneficial lets say in veg to somehow cover each globe with blue cellophane, would it increase growth rate?
