Light coverage?

Hello everyone, I have a 1000w ballest I'll be hooking up to a mavericksun cool tube reflecter. My question is if my plants grew roughly 3ft tall and my light was 5 ft above that (in a 7ft ceiling basement) would I get enough light coverage to scrog 6 plants? This will be my second grow so not really sure on how big they will scrog out to be but I'll be vegging around 60 days for optimal yeild. I have a 10x10 room they will be in.
Any tips or advice is appreciated
Thanks

The picture is the reflecter I'll be using

A 1000 watt light will cover approximately 25 square feet, if you use the standard of around 40 watts per square foot. Most go with a 5x5. I feel with the way the light disperses from the reflector something like a 4x6 area would work slightly better. If you got a grow tent or built some container the right size with reflective surfaces youll make max use of that light and max use of ventilation

I use a 400 watt in a square meter 5' tall tent though

i think the 5x5 space is more realistic to cover with the 1000w. and i think if you veg your plants in 7 or 10 gals and veg them for the 60 days under the 1000w you would be able to fill the space up nicely. maybe even less day is it from seed or clone?

You want to go on the very end of optimum light range at the start for seedlings and plants that havent been exposed to such intense light

Id say build a little rig in the center of your 10 x 10 room for your scrog netting( 5X5 or 6x4). frame it up and you will be able to walk all the way around for inspection and watering. once they really start booming..

I dont use intense light for my seedlings.. i normally just use the sun in my green house. they get a little stretchy but thats the way she goes for free.

But id start seedlings under something else to save power anyway
Yup. Its not really a great idea but ive seen ppl do it. Just gave them the advice in case they are gonna use it

Thanks for the feed back guys. I'll be growing in one room no tents or anything, I was planning on growing in 6-8 gal big air pots I think they are called with the holes all in them, then individually SCrog each plant so I can walk around each one and branches don't end up over laying so I guess I'd probably only be good for 2 plants, however I do like your idea Angus of having them all in the center of the room Cuz then I can fit more closer together but a 5x5 screen wouldn't fit more then like 3 plants I'd think?

Depends on the size of the plants. You could put 1 or you could put 6 or a couple more. Higher plant count will fill out the screen faster.

Yeah I was thinking of growing small trees basically to see how much I can yeild per plant, but I guess it makes more sense to shorten my veg and add a cpl more plants.. so your saying 4-6 plants in a 5x5 screen?

Any ideas on high thc/cbd indica seeds that'll yeild huge or a hybrid indica dominant
I was thinking true og and Bubba kush maybe coma kush

Yes thats the number id use

Ime indoor its not about per plant, but area and lighting. You can get the same amount off one or 6 or 25 in the same space with same light. This is why some grow single large plants to stay in plant count and have a ridiculous amount of weed. But as i said longer veg.
