Light cycle for veg

In our area the longest day is 15hrs 20m in late June. We hit 15hrs at the end of May. I'd like to prevent early transplant flower / reveg by growing indoors under 15/9 until they're ready to go out, but I don't know if that's a long enough light cycle for them to stay in veg.
Any comments would be much appreciated.

Got 14 plants on 24-7 just trying to get them as big as I can to make a good seed cop of fem, beans and its my first indoor grow.

I've never done more than 18/6, but many growers do. The trick is to ease back gradually so you are matching the natural light cycle when it's time to go outside.
