light cycle

Is it bad to go from a 24/7 cycle to a 18/6 been on 24/7 bout 2-3 weeks and just put them on 18/6.just wondering?

that's what I do, keep it on 24/0 for 1 week or so and switch to 18/6 fr the remainder of vegetative stage

Well i did that because someone said that it would help produce females. and one of the leaves has a spot on it i remember dropping some fert on it by accident will it hurt the plant

As long as you just do that once you'll be fine. But if the light cycles aren't regular you will end up with hermies. And you're fine if its just some nuts u dropped on the leaf, won't hurt it a bit.
