Hey guys im curious to why the leaves arent coming out dark green.. I just phd my plant and it was around 7.5 to 8 so i think thats part of the problem but could it also be because of a nute def?
looks like this is a clone from a budding plant? yeah ph should be 6.5 ish it's more like nute burn.. she does not need much nutes that early the soil should be good till she gets going
I would give a tiny bit of nitrogen in the next feed water...just make sure the pot gets light before you water...
Unless that is an unrooted cutting...then keep it wet, and don't worry, they get really light colored while making roots til they get good and going.
Looks like a slight nitrogen deficiency. Remedy it with nutrients with nitrogen before it advances in later stages. You can faintly see preflowers on your clone. Next time when you clone its a good idea to trim the edges of your leaves. It decreases transpiration.
A ph that high in soil is exactly equal to nutrient defficiencey. You cant absorb as much nutes as are available. Lower the ph to 7. People arent just exaggerating the importance of ph, it is acornerstone aspect of growing. If you are in dirt, topdress with dolomite lime to get the ph consistant and add calcium and magensium.
What should i put in the soil to add nitrogen? Im slowly using pH down to level out the soil i dont want to make too durastic changes and harm the plant. Her roots are pretty strong at this point, its 3 weeks old in the soil after roots were already developed
cant really tell what those little white dots are but it looks like mite bites..you should look into that, probably not part of the problem youre experiencing right now but could be an issue if you dont nip it in the butt early as possible.
but yes Id say nute lock out do to high ph.
and...just saying.. not sure what dirt that is but a buddy of mine used something that looked just like that and all it gave him was massive gnat problems, so if its outside keep that inmind
