If i have to soft white lamps can i grow from seed to harvest i am going to get the cool white talking cfls also any info is great!

Bro.... You should really invest some of your time in reading... You can learn so much on this site. Just start reading and you would know the answer to this question... Not being a dick, just trying to expedite your learning for your own good.

Thank u I do all the time but I have seedling that have broken the surface also babies Ive transplanted that are growing...im am going to get the cool white I am just asking as far as effects on the plant

HPS is always a better way of getting denser product. Depending on how many watts yes more often than not you can go from start to finish but like stated above just read through some threads and youll be very enlightened. You can find Hps lamps that are very inexpensive. Sometimes the environment your plants are in can be more of a problem than the lighting so be aware of climate, humidity, and such forth.
