light info

i cut off the amount of light my plant got by 4 hours but now its down to 1 hour or covering now its geting 12/12 not if i keep it uncovered will it stress the plant. i would cover it at 7 pm and that was when sunrise was at 6 but some days when i could not make it to cover it it stayed out its ok if it takes longer i just dont want it to stress to much

i think the cover out by 4 if the plant can move that's ok but not if the sunrise can't but now anyway ok

If you mess with the lighting incorrectly you can cause the plant to go back to veg....let mother nature do the job...you can force an outdoor plant to show its sex by covering it with a 12/12 schedule for a couple weeks but you have to be dedicated like a timer indoors...missing it an hour here and an hour there this late in the season will surely mess with the hormones in the plant and possibly cause it to regress back to vegetation stage for a couple weeks ultimately not allowing enough time to mature fully.

P.S. Next year let mother nature flower your plants, unless you are so far north in the northern hemisphere that it's the only recourse to cover it.,

ya it gets clod hear early im just trying to let her get as much sun as she can before i got to bring her in side i had my watch on a timer but 2 days were missed cuz i had to work some ones shift last min and i could not get home for the 2 days but every thing else but 2 days has been like clock work just was hopeing i could give her a lil more light but i will keep on that clock work
