Light leaking into the flowering room while lights are off, how bad is that?

I was just wondering. If im in my room, and open my window which lets light into my room and through the center crack between the two doors in my cupboard. Its not direct sunlight, just ambient light, how bad is that?

And also, if my window is open and i open the cupboard for about a minute to check my plants during the day and little amounts of ambient light get in, is that bad?

I am aware letting light onto the plant while its in the dark while flowering is bad, but its only a small amount of light for a small amount of time.

I currently have the 12/12 period so that it comes on at 12 midnight and off at 12 mid day. I need it like this for good reason.

light is light... ambient or not, sort out your light leaks asap, it can cause your plant to go hermie......

i have my plants on 18/6, lights on at 7am in the morning of at 1am..... that way the sun is always down when lights are off....

How far away should my 250w HPS light be from the top of the plant while flowering?

i have a 600w hps, had major problems with heat at beggining, and recently started having problems with cold.....so in saying that, im a noob too.... get a thermometer put it at cola level and make sure it dont go over 80-85.... some people say put your hand under the light etc.... but this is an easy way to mis judge heat.... i thought mine were fine at the beggining but turns out i nearly cooked them.....

Else... if you dont have probolems with heat. ie. you have a cool tube.... the closer the better i think. But remember im a noob giving noob advice.

50cm ish,any signs of burning,lift it 10cm.
Little ights never effected me,I always mist,every hour and stop mid flower.
Im no pro on this hermi stuff though and ive never had a hermi (ive only started doing seed but done clones for years).
People do 24h light so I cant see how a bit of light while a sleep would mess with it,If you were doing it every day for like 20min a time i could understand.
I even put the 600 hps on to see when I check in sleep period.
