Ok so I have 6 55w (200 watt equiv) with 3800 lumens each. my box is 3' w 3' d 5' h would this be too little? Hypothetically of course

I would add a true 200watt (equivalent unknown) red spectrum for flowering. DO i have enough light? and .... GO!

Hiya Medical User, That's a fair bit of wattage + Lumens..and I think the rule of thumb is about 50w True per plant(some would say 100w) take it you talking about CFL? but that's a fair bit of Juice(Elec) with the 6x55w is 330w then the added Flowering Bulb would push you to 530w... I mean I understand if CFL your thing, OR if that's what you've got for this Grow...but IF you can handle any Heat issues..a 250w/400w/600w Hps might suit you better...and IF you got a 600w Digital Dimmable Ballast you can run it in the setting of your choice..getting ahead of my self...LOL and waffling! How many ladies do you plan to do under the Bulbs and setup you got?

Are you using Mylar or Matt White Paint...anything reflective or reflectors on Bulbs...

many factors can affect the outcome..

Peace

2 Ladies only, Flat white Paint no reflectors but i hung the (6) 55 watt bulbs vertical (like the 6 on a die) and the 200 watt bulb horizontal (down the center of the two rows of 3) from white peg board (strong, lightweight and bright white as well) no reflectors as that causes hot spots, heat is a bad issue that's why the cfls, and not an HID

PS. this was d DIY project at a friends house the plants are only in our minds.

Well for only 2 ladies that sounds fine..Gotta keep the CFLs as close as you can..say 2-3" if you can..though no where near that close when a baby..not for the first week say...

Peace & good luck when you Go For it..

EDIT: I started with CFL and still using a Giant 200w Dual one at the moment to Flower 2x Samara Greens Love Potion.
