Ok I seen some ballasts for the T8 setups would those work and what kind of fixture I need to put it in?

No - A t-8 is a flourescent fixture. You will need a ballast and a socket set for the HID (high intensity discharge as in the HPS or the MH) bulbs. They sell replacement bulbs but not the fixtures. The fixtures and ballasts are specific to the wattage of the bulb. The bulbs are the cheap part of HID lights. You can do a search for HPS (high pressure sodium) and MH (metal hallide) systems and you will see what I mean. Figure out what type of system you are going to run and purchase parts or the whole system and then the bulb. Some systems come with a starter bulb.

why not ask someone that works in that department in lowes
or walk around lowes untill you find an electrition then ask him or her

yes... there prolly going to think your growing weed , who gives a shit , what are they going to follow you home? .....NO! your going to also need a heavy duty extention cord like the big orange kind (14 gauge min)
or you can build you own ballast

Man I walked around looking at setups they had reading.
Tries finding a worker but they were used up or fucking jack dicking around n the back
So I don't have very good patince n a short temper so I left.
Was thinking of going with just CFLs for a veg/clone/mother box.
Dems. R 3'L x 2'D x 3'H I can make it taller that's it. Other specs have to stay same.
I'm wanting to keep a mother n do about 3-5 clones a week. Have to full veg in this box.
Ill have my tent for flower with a HTG 150HPS. I want to do a perpetual harvest.
How many CFLs would it take for my veg cab? 1/mother 3-5/clones.
