Hey Guys is it possible to flower under 6500k cfls? I know they say that you need 6500k for veg and 2700k for flowering but where i live i cant get 2700k cfl's. This is my first grow and i would be growing some dwarf low flyer seeds i got from cropkingseeds

I'm gonna guess you could as long as you reduce the light to 12 hours, but I have no idea what sort of quality or quantity you would end up with. Can you order a few online?

Pick up a prepaid card, or ask a buddy. Tell them you don't like the look of the 6500s and you'd like to try the 2700s. Or drive one town over, no car ask a buddy, or family member. I'd say it's important enough for the growing process to find a way.

where u live in the Sahara desert? I bet u anything that there is a WalMart where u live. WalMart is universal or lowes home depot all of them carry 2700k cfls. Stop been cheap and go get yourself at least 300 ACTUAL WATTS worth of cfls at the spectrum of 2700k. good luck!!!

I live in a small island in the caribbean... No wallmart, lowes or home depots here.

Should be able to get 3000k which would be better then the 6500k...but to anwser the question yes you can but quality will not be there.

I think you will be happier in the end...but if you know you will be getting the right ones in the next 3-4 weeks id say start your seeds or clones out, then the will be ready to flower when your flowering lights get there

You can use 6k no problem. I've done it before and got back potent flowers. Since your using 6500k cfl's, i wouldn't try to grow out bottom growth.
