light setup question +rep

hey all. i was wonderin some opinions on how you guys would set up these lights.
i have a 400hps and a 600 hps hanging right next to each other from the ceiling on moveable up/down chains.
then i also have 3 100 watt hps lamps, and 4 -2 tube 4 foot floros. im trying to maxamize what i can get from them. will it work to hang the 400 and 600 next to each other or is the growth in the room gonna be lopsided?

how would you guys set up these lights?
right now i have the floros in each corner because i read that the different spectrum given off by the floros will be good for the plants. the 100 wt hps lamps i just kinda shine up into the plants so i can cover all the foliage. complete light saturation.
i figure a 400 hps and a 600 hps together probably isnt quit like a 1000 hps but it has to be close right?
my room is 10 by 10 and 8 feet high.
is 1300wt hps and four four foot floros enough for the space im using?

It sounds like you have plenty of light for that space. I use a 1000w hps in a room about 6' x 6'. I'm not sure if the 400w and 600w next to each other will cause lopsided growth or not. Either way, just rotate your plants that way they get equal amounts of light. Sounds like a pretty good setup bro. Best of luck my friend. :weed:

I would space out the 2 large lights evenly and do as you want with the others. I dunno if that is enough for 100 sq ft. from above. That works out to 10 watts per sq ft from above with the 2 large ones. Perhaps someone else would have another opinion. Maybe make the area for the plants more like 8x8x8 instead so the ones on the perimeter don't suffer.

the room isnt exactly 10 by 10 but its close. i grew with these same lights before and things came out aces. i pulled 3 plus oz off my plants. yeah there were some that did better and some that did worse, but average was 3 oz. it took a lot of moving shit around when i had 60 plants.
every inch of the room is saturated with light. there are no shadow spots or blocked off spots. no matter where i put the plants they get complete light penetration. do you guys think i could use the floros for clones in the grow room? or do i need to take out another floro from my stash and set up in another spot?
is it worth me bringing out the other 4 floros i have.

I don't think you need them but it depends on how you have things set up. If you want to devote all the light you currently have to vegging and flowering and don't have the extra space at the edge or something then bust out the other fluoros and make a new spot. If you have a little extra space at the perimiter then use that. I would definitely like to see some pics of your setup. :bigjoint:

i actually have 3 spaces i can use. i have the roughly 10 by 10 then i have 2 other closets i can use that are about 3 by 4 by 6 or so. what i did last time was when i had 60 plants i had to utalize all the spots. i had the 600 in the spot i built the 10 by 10. i had the 400 in the closet and then i put all the floros and the 100 hps lamps into the last closet. it was a lot of work moving 60 plants from spot to spot constantly. it was like 4 hours of work a day.....this time im growing maybe 10 to 15 and ill be able to grow em bigger and put more effort into em. if you check my link here youll get some idea of how its set up. i stopped the journal halfway through because you could smell the super skunk plants from the sidewalk in front of my house. i dont know how i got away with it.
60 was wayy too much. i dont sell weed so when i ended up with a couple hundred ozs i didnt even know what to do with it all. i was selling oz for 100 of white widow and g13 x haze and violator kush. i had like 10 defferent strains at once my boys loved it

i would set up the 600 and 400 inline with each other, centered in the middle of your 10 by 10. then i would take 2 of your 100wt hps and add 1 each to each side of your main lighting. almost looking like a cross if seen from above.

i would take the floros and do a clone setup

i have a 9.5 by 9.5 tent with 2000watts hps with 20 plants. i'm afraid of throwing more plants into the tent only to give them supplemental lighting. wish i had me a couple extra hundred watters

doc if you were my boy youd be gettin the hook up. every time i do this i end up with wayyy more than i need. im in my 30s now so im not a 10 joint a day guy any more. an oz will last me months.
hey pain wreck, with the lights i have i was able to spread em out in three spots and i brought 60 plants to harvest. someone said id never have enough light but i got 3 plus oz off each plant....so yeah i was giving it away.
i figure if i put it out there that cheap maybe i can affect the price in my area. this 500 a z shit is fucking retarded
