I have a quick question. I have had my plants in 12/12 for about a week now and i am still seeing strong veggatative growth. Should i cut the lights back to 10/14 to slow this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You'll see accelerated growth for the first 2-4 weeks. This is what's referred to as flower stretch. You can top at about a week into stretch to control the height of the plant or wait until you you see pistils forming on the tip at about 3weeks in and top then to promote lower growth and double buds. Or just let it grow.

Thanks for the info. Im just a little scared to top them this far in. I will reach a week flowering tomorrow and i figured it had to do with the flowering.

Im just scared it will negatively impact the budding process cause i have heard that your not suposed to top during this time

I always top about a week or 2 into 12/12 if the plant is having a major growth spurt. This will really promote the lower buds but will also cause 2 smaller buds to grow on the tip. Most people like that one big bud on the tip but, I think topping works best for overstretching plants in confined areas.
