light trouble

Hi chaps, santa came and bought me my grow equipment! what a legend haha,
just some slight trouble i got a 600w hps system with dual spec bulb, but also got a 600w mh bulb for the veg period BUT!!!! with the mh bulb the pack is tryin to put the power through to the bulb and its getting there but the bulb is showing no sighns of life atall! the bulb looks fine not damaged wat so ever. any1 ever had this problem or no wat it could be?? a faulty bulb i thought? i dont no and major gutted wanna get my grow on!!

throw hps in unti ya get to the bottom of the problem. Keep the light up high though. Merry xmas

Is your ballist abul to run MH? Some ballist you have to change a switch others switch on there own and some just don't run the other style bulb.
