If I have a room 11ft long 5ft wide and 8ft high would 3 . 600watt hps be enough for 8 to 10 plants with a good yield

You want the best right, then no, 1 more would do it, or 3 1K's

or dont use the full 11ft and use the 3 600's but only covering 3ft of floor space under each bulb.

3 1K builbs would actually be perfect in that space, but more electricity and heat and cooling requirements.

Good Growing.

3 600's will work and you can do it no problems, dont get me wrong, it's just the absolute optimum is all I mean what I wrote up there.

I'm now actually thinking of making a bit into a veg room as the room is L shaped so if I use the bottom end were it goes into the L shape then the room will be about 8.5 ft long then with 8 to 10 plants I'd have enough room to walk between them to water and do all ajustments needed . Do you think that would be better

sure if you put all your short bushy plants in the middle of the room with the light over them, or maybe a wide scrog., or in a tent too, all depends on your personal expectations. its not the size of the room that dictates the light needs its the canopy of plants you train to grow under them.
if you want the most out of your plants surround them with lights
if you want the most of your lights surround them with plants.

Sounds like a plan yeah and line walls nice and reflective, you'll pull nice yield with the 3 600's. with MUCH less heat and electricity usage than 1000's.

All the walls and floor are white and ceiling at the moment. I grow in a 1.2mtr x1.2mtr. 2mtr x2mtr tent at moment but even 4 plants in there is tight so I have chance to use the room so thought I'd up things and see were I go and I like to get in among the plants when sorting them out not have to struggle

Idea just popped into my head, have you considered a llight mover. an advantage is as the lights move back and forth, shadows in the room and leaves change, it can actually increase yield, I'm not talking about using the mover to cover a larger area, although you could, I mean just a short distance back and forth. You said you want yield right?

;)

I was planning to top dress the Bubba with some extra worm castings and speck of High P guano, have a feeling from the few little clues I got from you this will help. She's in 5.5square kord pot still young not ready for the big pot.
I'm across the pond, way across.

In veg u will know they need nitrogen but in flowers it's more pk they need..phosphorus and potassium. ..less nitrogen. . If I feel I have a problem I will give calmag. . Or a good one is Epsom salts. ... my compost is peat free. And has worm castings already in .. feed wise it has 6 weeks feed so I really have not been heavy with nutes. .iv used coco bloom. .pk boost. And coco excellerate. .not a lot to . I do use molasses. But I always do 2 pure waters after a feed

This is the Katsu Bubba I'm talking about, it's the only pic I have at the moment of her, after that pic, she;s just a little more mature with all the internode tops came out and up breaking the canopy, but very healthy, new growth moving along each day etc. Just really fuckin wierd the way her leaves sit down just like in tht pic of yours up there of the Widow. There are these few hrs in the mid light cycle she does stand up, then back to her leaf pointing down ways again.. wierd shit, my first guess was low RH, because I do have low RH here, so I added humidifer raised it to about 55% a full day, no change.. This pic is from a few days ago of her just to get an idea of the plant I'm talkin about...
no burnt tips or anything rusty looking as it looks in the pic maybe, that's picture wierdness goin on, leaves are perfect.
Hey, thanks buddy!
