Light was left on 4 days in flower... What now?

So the time change fucked me. I was trying to get the timer just right so I had to spin it all the way around. To avoid this causing a quick on/off I turned the timer to on. And since it was early had to leave it that way. Well 4 days later I realize the light had been on 24/7 for 4 days during week 6 of going 12/12. (yes i hate myself)

Plants were far along and had stopped getting taller already. There was maybe 2-5% red hairs. They started growing new tops. Some rather high.

I found out right at the wake up time so I had them go dark for 24 then back on schedule. It is now about 9 days since I caught it and they have been back on 12/12. They have continued to make new tops here and there but not as much anymore. They seem to be filling in again and are for sure getting more frosty - but not as quickly i think. The smell seems to be a lot less. They were getting stinky but not so much anymore (but when touched they stink). They also seemed to be taking less nutes for a bit but are back to regular now.

I did have some leaves burn spots but just under the light. Other than that they were real healthy looking before and after.

Red hairs seem to be coming back now but a number of new white ones did come out. Not sure if underneath that they are red or may mold cause of this.

The pics here are from today - right at 8 weeks from going 12/12. The plant shown is a Blueberry Gum and the other is Early Blueberry but I can not get back there to shoot it. This is under a 200W LED in DWC. So I got some big looking buds but not as dense.

Any thoughts on what I could do? Or how long it might set them back? Give up and chop them?? (would hate to do this and they seem to be coming along now.

Thanks a lot

They are definitely not ready to harvest. I would keep them on 12/12 til the hairs are 80% red and have started to curl inwards not sticking strait up. You can also check your trichromes for Amber colored heads. I think you have about 3 weeks left. How long after switching to 12/12 did flowers start to form?

On that plant, the Blueberry Gum it was 2 weeks (so 6 weeks since). The other 1 week. (Funny though that once it flowered the Blueberry Gum just took off and surpassed the one that showed in a week).

The hairs just do not seem to be turning red as fast now.

slinger is spot on with the harvest advice. As far as anything else you may encounter with that is hermied plants. Be intersting to see if seeds appear. i'll sub hopefully you will report back on this.

Man get yourself a 30x jewelers loop and when the trichomes are milky, or 30% amber she's ready...depending on the high you want...more amber for a full body high, or just milky for a more head high.

Just gotta go with the flow on that F-up. Forget it happened and harvest when ripe, just like any other grow.

The same thing actually happened with me as well. The one that flowered first is way behind my other plant. Keep going as you are. Make sure your ppm for nutes it's at 1800ppm. Water twice more with the nutes then strait water til the end. Best of luck!

Your leaves in picture 11 look really weird, almost like cotyledons near the top of the buds.. I read a thread a while back this guy posted about taking clones in full flower and revegging them to create a shit ton of branching and insanely bushy plants, he posted pics of the plants revegging and they had a shit ton of branches and round leaves just like yours have

That is the largest one but most of the buds grew little tops like that. The grow out then the leafs curl right away.

They look a little frostier today so i took a leaf and checked it (riknstein I do have a 100X magnifier) and most of the domes are getting cloudy and there was 3-4 amber ones. So I will stick with it.

Slinger these are DWC so no "watering". I have been reading the great debate threads and not sure if I will flush or not yet. I did in the past but the argument of the plant eating itself makes sense to me.

Thanks all and I will update.

They still are going vertical! Starting to really piss me off. They still seem to be getting more forsty though. No real change in red hairs still. The one that is really sprouting I am thinking of cutting it off. Maybe even trying to clone it as mentioned. Because of visits coming no matter what they come down in 3 weeks. Big one is drinking a gallon of water a day!

One of them is starting to red up again and is smelling again. The other (BC Early Bleuberry) is still growing and no red at all.

New pics today. I decided they need some scale. Not very good pics though sorry tired. Now that I vape I have no lighter! Man I love the vape.

No signs of hermie I think.

Hoping about 2 more weeks? Blueberry at the back seems so far behind size wise. Used to be the bigger plant.

Thanks.

Mist it with water.....that kills or renders any pollen useless.....a hermied plant with pollen sacs will definatly cause issues...it must be quarantined:lol:
