lighthouse hydro 2014 tent reveiw

Alright so I did lots if research and after buying a Gorilla tent then a secret Jardin I deceided I would try the 78x78x78 Lighthouse hydro grow tent.

I ordered the tent on the 8th of January. I was charged for it immediately and awated shipping. The reveiws I had read was that the shipping was outstanding! Well it took a full fledged 9 days with 7 being shipping time. When the tent did arrive it said TENT real big on the box even though I requested a plain box. The box was beat to hell and torn but I was still excited and proceded to open the box. Once opened I noticed a nice little tear in the canvas....hooray! I unboxed the poles, corners, t's and tent. I opened the assembly video and quickly found out I was missing the tray floor, 1 corner, one t connector, and 2 light hanger poles.

I quickly contacted gotham hydro and told em what was up. They took a day or two then got ahold of me. I talked to a russian sounding dude who argued that I was only missing some parts not all that I said. I said fine just get me the fucking main parts and lets go. I then had to call 4-5 days later and asked for a tracking number only to find out they never shipped my parts.

I am bummed bad. I have had this tent for 2 weeks and cant use it. Even if I could the quality is terrible. The poles a thin and wobbly. The tent itself is nice canvas but pinholes galore. Also the seller thinks I am paying return shipping because this thing is shit lol and missing 9 pieces total if I counted correctly.

BUYER BEWARE AND STAY AWAY! GOTHAM HYDRO LIGHTHOUSE TENTS ARE TERRIBLE! I wasted 169.00, almost a month of headache, and cant even use my tent. Hopefully ebay has my back or im screwed.

Okay so Gotham answer my resoulution ticket. I had many issues listed but they only responded, "your missing items have shipped"

Well funny thing is they sent a tent with missing parts, I called em, had to argue about what was missing, then call 5 days later and say where are my fucking missing pieces. Then they shipped with 7 days ground and I wont have em till this coming Wednesday? Wtf thats how I am treated? No next day, no 3 days express but after I have to hussle you then you ship 7 days cheap to me. Lol

Also they have not adressed the pinholes, crappy stiching, torn box or tent, or the fact that I have a tent that I paid for weeks ago and cant use. I rold em I want a refund and they can have their tent back.

Yeah, I feel your pain on Gotham Hydro. I bought a BlackStar 270 Chrome from them a while back and when I got it unboxed the side was dented. I called Gotham and the dude told me "that's only cosmetic" and didn't want to do anything about it. What the fuck? I don't go buy a new Ford pick up with the body smashed in and let the salesman tell me "it's only cosmetic". A couple days later one of the fans stopped working so again I call Gotham. They send out a replacement fan promptly but this replacement fan doesn't match the other (dual fans) fan. One fan is white with lights (the original) and the replacement is black with no lights. So basically, this fucks me on selling it to somebody else because you can clearly tell it has been worked on. Anyway I will never buy directly from Gotham again. I have no issue with the LED light itself and it produces decent results but if I were ever going to buy another, which I'm not, I'd buy through Amazon for more protection.

Thats sum bullshit there bud. I went to leave a reveiw on their site and it has to be moderated. Ha they only have positive reveiws because thays all they allow. Scammers is what im starting to smell! I already left em reveiws everywhere. I will not be scammed and will not let others get scammed either.

Thanks for the heads up as I was planning to order a couple things from Gotham hydro. The thing is if it was a problem with my order I would take a ride to the store since it's in new York where I am. But why even go thru the headache as described. Sounds like cheap quality and not really helpful when problems arise.

I bought a 4x4 LH tent as well from them, no issues other than they required a signature upon delivery....that cost me 5 days because of having a JOB during delivery hours.

They sent me the part I needed with no hesitation to fix my light but it wasn't the original part. Sending out non-original replacement parts on a brand new light coupled with the dent in the housing was enough for me to quit doing business with them. I'm not saying Gotham is bad or good, all I'm saying is they won't get any more of my coin.

Guess I'm better looking thru amazon for another tent then.

Just to be clear, they are shipping the parts its just I had to email, call, call again, then they shipped them out at cheapest ground shipping 7-10 days. Why not next day or 3 day express? I am just unhappy that my order has been a cluster fuck and the quality is ebay quality at best. So to wait 3 weeks after payment and shit quality is not satisfactory. Plus I am still missing the light hanger poles that the guy said it didnt have but the video says it does.

I would send back the tent originally but they acted like I would have the missing parts right away. They lied.

Wyte if monies not an issue check out hydro hut silver thats what im getting next. I would rate em like this considering light proofness/quality/design I like
