Lighting adequate?

Hello. I have grown my plants to 12-16" in height under assorted fluorescents. It's time to switch to 12/12. How effective will 6 2700-3000k CFL bulbs be when combined with three T-4 bulbs with the same light spectrum? The wattage total is 42 x 6 for the CFL bulbs and 30 x 3 for the T-4's. Lumen output total is somewhere around the 15k range. Shuold i add a few larger daylight cfl's to total about 20000 lumen?

Add a hps if you can

i can't. the total set up for me has been less than $150 including soil, lighting, seeds and ferts. i've seen some damn good cfl flowering grows on here.

well you could start with that and get a use HPS from ebay in the meantime, if this still isn't an option you should add as much lumen to the grow as you can get your hands on light never harms but going without does

The T-4, isnt that a halogen light?
