Lighting and electricity questions with New grow.

Will be Running One possibly Two 600watters (along with fans, and a T5 for veg) , my question is with my 15A breaker capabilities will I be able to safely run this setup without any electrical issues? If so what would I have to do/check to be grow ready..

Setting up a 6x6x7 space and doing it the poor mans way, will put up photos of the grow asap.

Below is the lighting equipment from Amazon I am looking to purchase, let me know if there are better deals out there. Any help is appreciated! Cheers

Just the two 600W lamps is about 10A, depending on what else you put in there you may be getting close. I'm not an electrician and not in the UK, good luck!

110 volts x 15 amps = 1,650 watts
ur breaker will blow at about 1,650 watts.
I don't think ur gonna make it.

Is you're supply voltage 220 as it is in most of Europe.

the most you want to run constantly on a 15A is 80% or 12A.

add up all you plan on running on it and go from there.

Okay thank you for the responses. I just purchased the Apollo 600w. I am going to just run One 600watter for flower & One 150watter for veg, to play it safe. Along with the fans. I'm assuming I'm well under the15A limit running this line up. Comments or Ideas?

1 600 wont' be near enough in the space. try to concentrate the plants/light in maybe a 3x3 area and you'll have better results

Okay downsizing isn't to bad, could be worse I guess. Again this will be my first actual indoor grow, so maybe the one 600w ( + the 150w for veg ) will be okay for this. As long as I make my space a bit smaller for this first grow.

Now as far as ballast/electrical safety questions. If my ballast cord can't reach my outlet is it electrically safe to have an extension cord attached, then plugged into the surge protector? I'm a total noob obviously lol.. All help is appreciated

I made the mistake of running everything without re vampng the breaker to hhandle it in one of my first set ups. I ran a 1000w hps digital ballast charcoal filter and pumps fans the works, just went ahead and plugged into the house like it was no big deal....blew all our electricity.

I definitely do not want to blow the electricity.. Running just one 600w hps and a fan, would I still have to "Re Vamp" my breaker box?

Opinions on calling a local electrician in to check out my situation before I begin my grow?

Side note: I picked up 3 Tangi clones today, put them in my 3x2x4 Homemade tent under a 150w HPS sungrow.
Will clones thrive under a 150w hps? (I know MH is ideal for veg) (veg room is in separate room from flowering.)

You'll be fine running just one 600w and fan, should be no problem. I run a 600w, 400w, and 2 inline fans on 15 amps. I would just look at your ballast, mine says it pulls 5.7 amps. TBH I'm probably running pretty darn close to my max cause with everything I calculate out to 11.7 amps, but I don't run anything else in the room so it works out. My point is you'll definitely be fine with one 600w and one fan.

Oh, and yes the plants will do fine under HPS although MH is preferred HPS will grow cannabis just fine during veg and of course flower.

Update: Going to pick up soil + nutes today, any reccomendations? In past grows I've ran FF happy frog soil with little to no notes.This grow I want to use a simple yet effective nute feed ( maybe FF trio or Dyna Grow? ) and soil for my girls.
Also, Ill be putting up my 600watter today, will post pics of the grow asap.

For sure if its only those couple things at omly 600 it should be no prob.

In the end you're gonna find out you need another circuit lol. When you have trouble keeping your temps in check and humidity you're gonna be forced to plug in some type of cooling and dehumidification. Also when it's cold you may need to regulate with a space heater(Most likely lights off if you do need one so not a big deal unless doing some automated stuff where the light triggers as a heater is on). All of the items i listed will run a significant amount of power and eat up your available amperage really quick.
