Lighting change.

When do you swit your plants from 18/6 to 12/12...do bitch about how long i have my plants on they are as green as fuck and only a few weeks old but are like a foot tall each. Do i switch the lighting time when i find out if its female or later than that?

switch it whenever you want to dude....prefer after 8 inchs

I go by three rules here that usually end up fitting together perfectly:

1. When the plant has some 6-8 internodes

2. When a pure indica reaches around 8-10 inches or a pure sativa 20-25 inches.

3. When the first signs of sex appear. This way you know that your plant will not suffer any stress from the lightperiod switch, since it's showing that it's ready for flowering.

Usually, these three always go together.
