Lighting in new room

Hey fellow stoners,

So i am planning on starting a nice small grow to get the new year rolling. I have a closet with dimensions of about 2 1/2 feet deep, 5 wide and about 7 feet tall. My plan is to grow 5-8 plants in a Hyrdo/soil setup, possibly SoG but iam not to confident in that technique. My question is how many and what size lamps should i be using?, and what ventilation those lamps would require. I was thinking 2x 400HPS with a DiY carbon scrubber. Iam not too possitive on were to go with this and any imput would be very appriciated, time to go burn one

one 600 watt would be better (around same amount of lumens, just less energy used), and be able to grow 5-8 plants in that space. Get a fan anywhere from 300-450 cfm w/ a carbon scrubber, if no scrubber than 250 cfm or around there.

yes i was thinking of the SCRoG technique, my bad. Would a 600HPS lamp not heat the room very easily though?, would a 400-450 cfm fan leading into a appropiate carbon scrubber give me enough ventilation or would i need a intel fan aswell (maybe a vent from the attic about my closet?), iam assuming a rising pattern in the air flow would make more sense, intel at the bottom and exit through the top because heat rises?
