i know ive read this before a dozen times but i cant find it......

im looking to upgrade my light ( using cfl's now) im wanting a light to use for flowering, and continue to use my cfl's to veg, my question is: What light is better for flowering Metal Halide, or Merc. Vapor? I'm pretty sure I read something on here saying one was good for veg. but not flowering, is that right?

Thanks in advance for any info

ps. im already flowering with cfl's and 4, 4' flor. (been in flower for under a week) should I take out all the flor. and switch to my new light or will that shock the plants and cause more harm than good?

yes, digital circuits extend bulb life and allow swapping standard HPS and MH grow bulbs without conversion. and they are quiet

Here is where I'd go to upgrade

HID Hut Light Kits

400 watt HPS, Reflector, Digital Ballast and bulb. $139 and you are ready to go.

I've been happy with them. If you know somewhere else let me know, never hurts to have options.
