Lighting Question

I was running Advanced LED's 180watt system for my lowryder grows and I have decided to pick up a 600 watt HID lighting system for my next grow. I felt that the LED did well with lowryders, but it would not be strong enough for a larger plant. I was wondering should I use the LED lighting for vegging my plants or pick up a MH bulb?

Ive never had any experience with led's, but mh bulbs are great for vegging. If you dont want to spend a bunch of cash, cfl's are a good option for vegging as well. You can ghetto rig a little lighting set up that will do very well for vegetative growth. Ive got some pics on my page f you wanna look.

Thanks j4droopy, I decided to pick one up. I guess the only thing that's bothering me is the heat. Do I have to pick up a 650cfm fan or would my 200cfm fan be fine?

I've heard only bad things about LED lights.. I've avoided them, but if they work they work! You might want to use your LED lights for vegetative cycle as then they don't require that much light output and just use you HID for flowering cycle. You definitely need a higher light output for budding! Good luck.
