Lighting questions for new grow

What's up all, I'm currently working on my new stealth grow set up, I have a set or drawers, 45"X wide 16" deep and 30" tall. I orignially wanted to seperate it into two chambers and keep one side, a bit smaller to operate at a veg area. I would use a board to seperate the sides with a foam sealer to block out the light.
And then I would keep the other side for my flowering ladies.
On to my question then. What size light would work best for this area, I'm a bit scared of a 400 watt, because without a cool tube I dont think I could control the heat well enough, but I havent got the funds for anything more than the light at the moment. Which Ill be buying from HTG Supply.
Could I use a 400 watt, or would a 250 or even a 150 be better suited. If needed I can probably get a pic or two of it on here, but I figured someone(s) would be able to help.
I don't currently have the ventialtion set up, as I figured I would wait to see what is needed, I would prefer to stick with simple small fans and computer fans.
Thanks much all the helps greatly appreciated.

im new at this too bro but it sounds like a smile 150W HPS would work inside a small dressor... it would not heat the place up too much.. so you woudlnt need to spend much on the ventilation...i just ordered one from them and dont know much about it yet

same one I'm looking at, have you ordered yours? You'll have to let me know how smooth the process goes. looks like a great deal, and the store is pretty popular on here. and the more I look at your grow, the more it looks like my current set up, I donno if you've upgraded. I've got two 42watt CFL's 2700K two 18watt CFL's 2700k, and a daylight spectrum flourescent lamp, that I believe is a 90. I've got two ladies in there fifth week of flowering just little though abnout 12 inches. Its my second go round. Had one orange diesel lady before that yielded well, until the cold temps where I live caused the temps to drop so drastically when I was on vacation that I was forced to harvest early. LAME. I was lucky enough though to recieve 50 bubble jack seeds, a cross between bubble gum and jack herrer, from a friend of mine who farms in norcal. I look forward to comparing our grows and learning from them both, I think that the 150 will be a great way to get some high quality buds in our spaces provided. Good luck to you
