Lighting questions? Please help

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding lighting. TO start off ill tell you what i got. I have a grow cabinet which has lights in it that have been good for my plant. Where i live it has been hot. So the cabinet has been getting a lil warm. i am currently working on a vent system but untill then i have been having the lights on in the cabinet untill the sun comes up for the first third of the light cycle and then i leave them till there is no more sun and put them back in the cabinet with lights untill my girls have to go to sleep (when my lights go off). IS THIS BAD FOR MY PLANTS? CAN YOU TELL ME ANY INFORMATION PLEASE? My two plants look very healthy :)

Hi,
Let me see if I understand what you are saying.
Correct me if I am wrong.
You have your plants in a cabinet under lights at night and when morning comes you take them out of the cabinet when the air is cooler and then put them back in the cabinet at night again?
So they are never in complete darkness??
How many hours are they under the lights?

lights come on at 3am, about 11am i shifted them outside only about four times in 2 weeks and when sun goes down I put them back in cabinet with lights on till 9pm then they are off till 3am . my plants are currently inside the cabinet now permanently but one of them has began to have pistols. did the sun cause this?
