Lighting questions

I have 1 400w HPS and 1 400w MH. Both in Sun systems hoods. I have devised a method so they are on a track and can be moved easily and switch positions on a daily basis. I am devoting a bedroom to this project, and was wondering what kind of floor area can these 2 lights cover. And how far away should the lights be from each other.

I also got 6 48" flourescent fixtures (12 bulbs) which I was planning on using for a veg and clone area.
If anybody has any good ideas on how to use both 400w's efficiently let me know thank you.
I am going to start a grow journal soon. I have Purple Widow, Wonder Woman, Hash plant, Flo, and Blueberry.

ive actually seen a setup that involved a light on a track, that would be, say, 12 foot. and the light, a mere 2 foot, would go up and down the track, making a complete revolution every ten minutes... probably not at all what your looking for, but it covers 2.5x the area...and its the most recent thing in my mind :)

but a 400 watt can cover i think 6x6... HPS -- MH im not sure about. i just know they're inefficient, and i stopped reading...

good luck! post pics when you start construction :):)

a 400w covers a 4x4 area ,i believe....
however u set up ur tracks would dictate how far apart u need them
