only small , 60cmx60cmx140cm , i could go a little bigger but prefer not. I think a 250w HID would be enough in a cool tube.

Most LED's designed for growing will get the job done but I'd go with Area 51. I just upgraded a few weeks back from a Blackstar 270 Chrome and I'm happy. The Blackstar worked, no doubt about it but technology changes and I'm confident I can do better with better made panels. FYI, according to the Dr. Meter Lux Meter, the Blackstar puts out less LUX than a W-100 even though the Blackstar pulls 45 more watts. Yea, I have a Kill a Watt meter as well.

I second the a51led ^^
I just switched from kind led and am having awesome results. The rw150 is beast and has a switch to run veg only flower only or both lights at the same time.

Hey tarks, I have the same size tent (2'x2'x5') and have a 250w HID in there and just moved from a cooltube to an econo wing open reflector. I did this because there is a good 10% energy loss from the glass and shape of the glass. With a smaller grow like this I want to maximize yield and potency. I found the cool tube was not beneficial in my application.

Temperatures are pretty good 82F (27.7C.) Granted ambient temperature is lower due to the season. Just make sure you have a fan and carbon filter if needed.

I like the Apollo 300's amazon offers. They pull 170 true watts and produce no heat. They cover about 3x2. I have one in my closet set up but will buying more for my new tent.Screenshot_2015-02-08-16-31-58.png

I had led lights with a similar color spectrum and was told that's old technology. That it makes the plants put more effort Into producing leaves than what you want in flower. The new technology lights are all red and white lights. That's what I would look for if buying led lights

Apollo's are 8 band including white. But there are a lot of great led options out there. Next to the Apollo in the pic I have a no name 11 band China made that performs just as well but the Apollo is just built better.

Yea I had kind lights. Full spectrum just like those. They include alt of extra blue to get the par ratings up which are better for veg than flower. Mine had controls you could change each spectrum different intensity. Mine put out a lot of heat tho. The a51 are way cooler.

Yea fuck kind lol. I only say this after buying 10 a51 panels. They are way cooler than the one 750 kind light. The rw150s are making some of be densest buds I've ever seen
