Lighting

Hi guys I live in New York and over here its cold and the electricity bill is crazy. I have a florescent light. On the bulb it says Helical 26w 120VAC 60Hz 390mA. I am trying to experiment with growing don't want to go crazy with it. All I want to know is if that it will cost me alot of money to use the light. I cant use sun light because its winter here and there isnt much sun light. Or if you guys could tell me a better cheaper way. I had my plant for a week or so I will send pictures if you want. Please help

Adding a 400 watt high pressure sodium bulb does not cost much at all. I do not know what bulb you have listed above. Grow with hid lamps. It is worth it.

You can do what I did and make a custom light hood from a plastic tub and an outlet strip with CFL bulbs. Also I would rather go with the HPS, If you are not to worried about cost.
