Lightproofing turned my girls around!!

Im so stoked right now. Someone on here told me that the top of my rubbermaid isnt light proof. Well they were right, I used aluminum tape and taped up the top of my lid. Only 2 days later the brown roots are dying and tons of white long roots are shooting out from everywhere. Its crazy and owe it to you guys. So thanks!

Hold the top of your rubbermaid up to a light, if you can see a glow through it, its not light proof!!!

You might want to do the whole tub if you only did the top. Light will come in from the sides and you'll grow algae instead of pot. Also if your still using the the plastic covers for your net pots you might want to switch them to paper because the stems will get thicker than those holes you cut.

Hey what's up bro. I just lightproofed my res today cuz I had some little bugs in there and slime so I did the 8 step recovery and taped up my res so I'm glad to hear that it worked well for you. Now I just hope it works as well for me as it did for you. I don't want to lose my ladies they are so purty. haha
