Lights stayed on last night. What do I do ?

The light stayed on last night because I had messed with the timer a bit. They're in flower at 12 and 12. What is the best way to correct the problem. Let the light stay on till their normal bedtime tonight around eight or should I go ahead and give them 12 hours of darkness now. I would like to leave the lights on and put them to bed tonight with my others if that seems like that would be a fair solution. What are your thoughts?

Cut it all down man it's ruined.

Lol, if it was only one night it should be fine...depending how far into flower you are. The farther you are into flower the better. Giving them 12 hours of darkness now would change your time, which could cause your plants more stress...and more likely to develop seeds. Potentially, some strains don't develop seeds under stress, some do. All the kush strains I've ever grown will seed out under stress. But I don't really know the science behind it friend so for that I'm sorry. If I were in your shoes tho I would keep the time the same and just put them to bed tonight.

Yeah no worries, just fix the timer and keep going after the next dark period. Unless that happened several times they won't even know what happened. Had a 3 day power failure about 6 weeks into flowering last spring and they never skipped a beat when the lights came back on.
