would a 150w hps cover 4 plants from seed to harvest started at 12/12?

thats deffinitally not the cheapest setup lol.

im broke as hell right now. By buddy has a 900w hps but i'd rather not ask him for the light as im trying to stay low key but i want my baby's to survive. I'll have natural light for a while but i need a cheap light setup asap. After the first harvest i can kind of splurge on a light

Buy as many CFLs as you can, get the ones with the best price. Wattage doesn't really matter per bulb with CFLs. The highest wattage CFLs are the least efficient. 13-65 actual watts is prime, pretty much 70 lm/W.

I have 5 cfl's on the plant right now

two of them are 27w 5500k
the rest don't display the color temp but are 26w


How many cfl's would you suggest i get for 4 plants for flowering?
