Roots!!! Today i see some roots out of the seedlings!!! I am excited i guess i am making progress afterall. I had to raise the lights back up to 28" a few of them were looking a little droopy and the temps were rising to upper 80's. Overall PH still holding strong at 6.0 water temps 67f air 81f. They also seem to have no problem with the superboost brought it up to 280 ppm's total i might bring ppm's to 350 by the end of the week and then flush.

Looking good LimP. They should start blowing up any moment now. You'll see some great growth!
Thanks man, seems that the power skunks are growing healthier than the afghan/mazar's atm. Ph is still holding at 6.0, water 65f, air 80f ppm's 280. keeping the light at 28" for now, I think on my next grow i am going to get a MH conversion bulb for veg period instead of going hps all the way through. No pics today need to rest.

I received the cycle timer ($85 on ebay) today and installed it got my pump running 1min on and 5 min off water temps now are 64f since its about 45f or so outside but when temps rise we will see if it helps keep temps down a little. Air in tent 80f water 64f ph holding at 6.0.

There growing good improvement from a couple days ago Powerskunks are around 1.5" tall and Afghan/Mazar's are around 1.25" tall Ph is holding at 6.0 water temps 64f air 80f when lights are on 64f when off. I added a AC unit blowing into the tent so i can get light closer with is about 22" from plants. Added 2 more tsp of superboost bringing ppm's to 420 which i am going to hold it there until i change the rez on saturday.

First pic is on of the pskunks second is afghan/mazar and third is one of the a/m.

Oh yeah, now they're taking off. Buds in no time right!?
Looking great, good thinking with the AC unit. I'm sure that will help control the temps.

Just a quick update, changed the rez today and added supernatural aqua grow 300ppm's worth. I have one sic plant dont know if it is going to make it. Also had a little proble with one of my sprayers which i accidentaly made to big when drilling the holes when i made it, popped out and water was spraying through one of the net pots and going every where! Luckily i checked on it in time so i only had to put a couple of gallons back in the rez.

Now i am minus i plant one of the afghan/mazar's just wasnt going to make it, seemed to have good roots but the leaves just shrivled and died. Another plant has some brown spots on the leaves in one of my books shows could be possible potassium defiency also on another there is slight browning, but the other plants look healthy so i dont know what it could be.

This week is supposed to be dam cold here so i had to add a little heater to keep temps up tonight is supposed to be in the low teens hopefully they will make it through the week with no power outages.

First pic is the brown spots the worst one. And the last seven survivors.

crap had a power outage here!!! i dont know when it exactly happened, but i am just going to go straight into 12/12 cycle now and hopefully they will be alive when lights come on tonight. the good thing about this setup is the roots still are wet due to them laying in the rez.

There alive!!! after the power outage last night freezing temperatures there still alive. Had to change light schedule to hopefully not hermie them. Afghan/mazar's around 2.25" power skunks are around 3" i still have some mag deficiency or some nute burn but its still kicking.

Hey, that's great news that they are still alive!

So, now you are on a 12/12 schedule? Interested in seeing how this turns out. good luck!

Yes on 12/12 it was not by choice i dont know how much light they got before the power went out but i know it was less than 18, so in hopes of saving them had to go 12/12, that is atleast in my logic. I turn my lights on at 5pm and when i woke up around 5am no power I am just hoping that they dont hermie. I was going to wait till they were around 6" tall atleast and then switch to 12/12 but this is what i gotta do.

I was thinking i have some sort of deficiency but i think it is nute burn on acouple plants I am going to flush a some of my rez and put fresh ro water in and lower my ppm's to get in the 200's.

ok i flushed out about 4 gallons of ro water i had brought the ppm's to around 300 should probably have my ppm's around 200 for this stage of there lives, just a few have some nute burn just slowed them down abit they should bounce back strong this week, they should just be bigger almost 3 weeks from seed.

Flushed out about 10 gallons to get ppm's to around 150 since i had some nute burn, went to gung ho on the nutes to early plants should be bigger at this stage but there still growing. Power skunks are around 4" and afghan/mazar's are around 3". Will stick with this ppm level until i flush and add bloom/nutes on tuesday.

Its been a while since i gave a update. Ran into a few problems as of late, one thing i didnt know is when using Reverse osmosis water you are missing some essential elements magnesium being the defeciency that a few of my plants were showing. Upon advice from my local hydro store i picked up some Cal-Mag Plus which should solve some problems, seeing brown/rust spots on leaves. One of my plants might be to far gone to save but i will give it a week to see if i am getting any new growth. I was going to go in straight 12/12 for the rest of the time since i had my power outage but I consulted with my hydro guy that I have faith in and went back to 18/6 i hope they dont get hermied i was only on 12/12 for a couple days so we will see. When i do go 12/12 i plan on giving them 24h of dark to really let them know its flower time, some people say plants will show male/female earlier by doing this.

Today I topped a few plants and lollipopped a few to see what the effects would be, right now i am running 500 ppm's of grow aqua supernatural and 200 ppm's of cal-mag plus for a total of 700 ppm's i am going to gradually go up till I hit 1k ppm's and then give them 24h of dark then flush and add cal-mag then next day add bloom nutes, not quite shure if I should flush first then add nutes then put em in the dark. Anyway here are a few pics.

The plant in the middle back is the one that i dont know if it will survive.

Looking at them I'd say they'll pull through alright...they are tough plants. also, it looks like your new growth areas are doing alright, though it's hard to tell how green they are with HPS lighting. I say keep doing what you're doing and they should recover. how do the roots look?

It was probably a good idea to keep them on 18/6 for now. I doubt that the couple nights of 12/12 did much, they were probably too young to be affected, but that's just speculation on my end. guess there's only 1 way to find out.

How many more days are you going to veg these plants?

Going to veg until thursday, the root system looks great in all the plants nice and white roots all over the place.

as long as the roots and the new growth areas look good, you should be good to go. Prepare for them to blow up once you go into flower! :bigjoint:
