Lining Wall with Pictures?

First time grower. 8 ladies under a 400w MH in an 8x8x8 closet that just started vegging.
Anyway, I have a buddy who tells me that putting up pictures of buds around the growroom (i.e. High Times, Big Book of Buds) triggers something in the plants sensory system and makes the plants "aspire" to be like these superbuds. Any truth to that?

Dont listen to these idiots. It works man. I had a picture of a the top ten strains and placed it near some bag seed I had growing and it turned out to have traits from each of the top ten strains. Make sure to put the pictures as close to the plants as possible. I had a buddy try this and he placed the pictures to far away and his plants grew all mutated. Keep them any where from a foot to about two feet away and you'll have plants resemble your pictures exactly. Good luck man.

The first thing I recommend anyone to purchase is a good poster with some high quality pot plants on them. You can have all the light and oxygen you want, but at the end of the day the man who went and bought the poster is going to have the better plants.

This might work. I had a picture of a duck on the wall. Everything smelled like duck. Burned like duck burning, and had webbed leaves.

Works. Placed pineapple trees in a closet with high times centerfolds. Got the tastiest buds and stoniest fruit.

And then, since that worked, I placed a loop recording of " you will grow dank buds" in the room and the plant bust through the drywall growing so big.

Then of course I went out and bought some common sense.

its a fair enough question, and i think there is a possibility that there is a small amount of truth to it. (maybe)

There is a researcher named Masaru Emoto who studies the effects of thought on the world around us. He printed words and short phrases and attached them to multiple water bottles filled from the same distilled water and left them overnight. He then froze the water and took pictures of the newly formed frozen crystals. Words that were positive like "love" and "thank you" formed symetrical brightly colered crystals, but negative words/phrases like "you make me sick" formed dull assymetrical crystals, or simply no crystals at all.

Not saying a poster will help, but there's at least some people that believe thinking positively around your plants may help them.

Just some things I've read, I make no claims to know the actual truth behind it.

In all honesty though, you're probably better off just filling that poster space with something reflective, light is something everyone can agree on as being beneficial :)

No, it's a stupid question, and there is zero possibility that there is any truth to it at all. It's a fucking plant. :wall:

So after smoking a couple of blunts, I have figured out how to make this work.

It is so simple that I'm ashamed to say I did not think of this sooner (and you guys should be ashamed to.

OK, here it is, the secret to making posters benificial in the grow room...are you ready, here it goes, ATTACH THEM FACE SIDE IN, the white shiny back of most posters should reflect light.

I'll send you the poster I'm using right now for 100 dollars. I'm done growing, so I don't mind selling it. It worked for me so I'm 100% sure it will work for you.

If you are working in the grow room, looking at pics of good buds, you will give off a "vibration" that will be picked-up by the plants...

Just my 2cents
