There are two easy ways to add CO2 to your grow project, one is nearly cost free, the other one costs about $120 to start but works like a champ.

Nearly free and in the GrowFAQ:

This one costs money, but you just drop the resulting dry ice into a bowl in your grow room for C02 release:
https://www.rollitup.org/view.php?pg=faq&cmd=article&id=286

C02 release is best during the flowering stage though...so you don't need it right now. Right now, your plants are too small to need much C02. Plants do breath, they take C02 from the air and release 02 in its place. What you need to realize, is that in a closet or room, one tiny plant will not intake enough C02 to need you to introduce any. Everytime you check your PPM, ph, temp, etc....you breath enough C02 out for your plant. Once the plant is larger it requires more....and as you get to the flowering stage, adding C02 can increase your bud size (you will need a lot of light to photosynthesise all that C02 so don't skimp or you are wasting your time).

P.S. If you are using the dry ice method....DO NOT add the dry ice to your reservoir as it will kill your plant (roots need 02, the air the leaves breath use C02).
