List of the most reputable Cannabis Seed breeders AND banks

Hey guys. I had a pretty cool idea a few nights ago, I decided to come here to give it a little lime-light and see what some people think of it.

Now, we are always getting questions about people asking where should they buy their seeds? or who is the best person or breeder to buy from? Who breeds the best seeds for the best amount of money? what about cheaper seeds that are still good and reliable? and the ones that are really expensive but they are worth what you actually pay for them. In order to find this out i thought i would call upon myself and all of the other people with experience here and maybe we can start a small list and/or reviews of some separate seed breeders and some banks (example: breeder name mr nice --- example: seed bank attitude seeds)

Get what I'm saying here guys? We want to try to give people a smaller and or more exclusive list than what they would see when buying seeds at a large bank like attitude on top of that we can get personal opinions and people with experience growing these seeds out that have no financial or capital gain to making a good review about a reputable breeder. In that sense i think we can provide a better registry of breeder reviews and stuff like that here than any seed bank could, because lets face it, the name of the game is capitalism, you win by making the most money you can and they will do/say anything to get your buck. I'm not going to make any reviews at this moment in time as i just came up with this silly idea and i have other things to attend to, but i will soon be coming out with some reviews of at least the banks that i have PERSONALLY used as well as the same thing for breeders. but, if anyone had that experience or insight on a bank or breeder they have had, whether good or bad, post it here. we should be just as aware of the negative and bad seed banks and breeders as we are of the good banks and breeders. so feel free to add input if you have the relative info

ps. please do not knock or post bad things about seedbanks or seed breeders that you just dont like, or have some other ulterior motive other than helping the community make a informed decision on where they get their seeds. if your posting a review about a certain bank, you should have experience growing at least 1 or 2 of their strains, not stuff you read on the interwebs. and IMO the legitmacy of your post and review will go alot furthur if you can include pics of the strain in question or even at least the packagign from the seed breeder yu got the seeds from ( like the little pack) but of course this isnt necessary, im just saying. in my opinion i think anyone and myself included will take you more seriously if you can show me you have experience with this particular breeder. thank you guys! :peace:

Leave the hate at the door, there are tons of other threads for that be positive!! I mean that in being nice to each other, if you have a negative review, well that wont be very positive :) lol but it doesnt have to have hate in it!

Also, I am aware we have a seed and strain review sub-forum as well as a sub-sub forum that mentions banks, however we do not go into good enough detail about the people who breed the seeds and on top of that I think the seedbank reviews is very well hidden in the forum as a whole making it so not many people actually ever get that far or make it there, especially the new people. they will sign up and just goto newbie section or GMG. maybe introduce yourself if they plan to stick around, but many may just want to ask 1 question and then leave and never log on again. this is okay but, i think if we can give good information and be kind as a community not only can we get more members to come and stay but more people in general become knowledgable at growing adn eventually can pass it on to others....

thats what we want. overgrow everything! :) :peace:

Dutch Passion(breeder) from Kind Seed Company pre-2003 and Attitude post 2010. Good overall quality, all seeds arrived and germinated. Orders before 2003 being best quality.
Strains include:
Blueberry: 1st order in 2002 was superb, order in 2010 not as good pheno selection.
Skunk #1: ok quality
Power Plant: not so happy with, stretchy and picky w/ nutes

Nirvana Seeds: From Marc Emery in 03-04', Seeds Boutique after 04' four orders good/ one had money stolen w/ no beans.
Strains:
Top 44: discontinued now, but clones done at 44 days and was superb bud w/ below average yield.
Power Plant: great! better than Dutch Passion for 3x the money.
Snow White: Ok, nothing special.
Ice: Superb pheno, could withstand heat and super mold rest. Very potent and large yield. Best one I tried from Nirvana.
Blue Mystic: Good but could have been better due to grower error.
Some others but I can't remember much about those.

Next Generation Seeds: Attitude seed bank: beans arrived and germinated fine. Good experience.
Grape God: Superb quality, fruity fat potent indica. All seeds were uniform, all phenos look identical. Great product.
Grape Skunk: My grape god was better all around, but the G.skunk was good.

Breeders that I have only tried one strain;
Delicious seeds/Attitude seed bank freeby: Critical Jack Herer; Great product fruity, great high. Lead me to order more from Delicious seeds.
Dinafem/Attitude freeby: Power Kush; Great product this one matched the breeder's description. Would buy from again.
Barney's Farm/Attitude seed bank/ Bought 2 feminized, 100 day flowerers, was not happy with. Would still try others from barney's though.
Cannaventure/Attitude seed Bank/ bought ten pack, was very purple, had bad taste and not potent, Overall not happy with product. Not sure if I run any more CV gear.

Overall have been pleased with all seedbanks and most breeders.

If you are going to buy from greenhouse don't get BIG BANG it was the only female plant that I've seen that had nearly 0 trichomes,it had great looking colas 7 inch wide but totally waste of time and pulled it wk early.

Before I started buying seeds, I came here and looked them up to see what other people have said. Because there are so many variables that are directly related to the grower and their environment, even with 1 or 2 seed orders, it's hard to get a comprehensive idea about a company. Just saying that just because I have success or not doesn't mean that someone else will, or that my conditions are better than someone else's. I see a lot of hate on here about certain companies and hermaphrodites, but is that the breeder's fault or the growers? Same with germination rates, sex ratios, etc... Good idea to take everything with a grain of salt anyway. I would be interested in more background info on companies, their history and noteworthy timelines with breeding stock.

I have a pack of 5 with 3 left in and honestly bro I wouldn't give them away. I have been messing with different strains for years and in perfect conditions, I was so mad I email GHS and ask to swap them for something else I was that pissed off ha ha, but hey horses for courses just putting it out there that big bang was a even bigger let down shame because the colas were pretty good, lucky I'm not a arjan hater or they would very sorry ha ha

I definitely take people's experience into account before buying seeds. I have steared clear of GHS just because of so many people complaining. I have been trying a bunch of TGA this past year, have yet to find a keeper although this round has a pheno of Ace of Spades that looks and smells great. Love/hate the mystery of seed growing. I definitely have phenos of Timewreck and Agent Orange that are better than what's offered at the local clubs but they aren't super high yielding and aren't being kept. Probably be trying some other seed companies next, just to branch out.

I bought from sensi seeds, Barneys farm, dinafem, Ghs, dutch passion and the same here nothing worth keeping so I stick to a phsycosis clone I have had for a few years and sort of lost faith in most seed companies as I don't reallyhave the room to keep trying different breeds and finding out that not only are they not 8 wk strain as advertised and more like 10 -12 regardless of phenotypes they boast they have. There'sa big market out there and unfortunately it's money and not quality driven like years ago .most companies policies have changed for the worse but I hope you do stumble upon the ultimate keeper bro and hey maybe let me in on your secret seed ha the Ghs experience has finished my appetite for the ultimate keeper hunt ha

Attitude and Single Seed were great - Single had very fast turn around in comparison but both were great to get re-started.

Not a cheap place to score beans, but the quality of the plant and his genetics. Make up for that.

His price's and bean counts vary by demand.....get it early and save! It's the high demand period and it's reflected.
