Little brown spots, leaves starting to yellow.

Growing in coco feeding vegbloom on an 18/6 veg schedule with t5 flourescent. This one doesn't seem to be growing enough, the ph is a bit high at 7.5, looking to order something to lower ph, any recommendations would be great.

Just noticed these brown spots and the leaves seem to be yellowing a bit. The lights are about 18" from the top foliage. Help! IMG_3991.JPGIMG_3992.JPG

Looks like ph lock out. Adjust your ph and they'll probably start looking a lot healthier. My plants looked exactly like that before i was checking and adjusting the pH of my water. I also think a little bit of some calmag would help them as well.
I forgot to add that I personally use General Hydroponics Ph up and ph down. And Botanicare's calmag plus

pH to high for Ca uptake - pH lockout.

Mad farmer has the best down! There are plenty of down's available.. While you wait to get it.....cider vinegar and lemon juice will have to do.

Ph all in-going to 5.8 - 6.2

A Ca/Mg is basically required for use with Coco......

Absolutely Cal/Mag by the way you have described it along with the picture provided. lllicitmango is right on target with the recommendations as well, use GH ph up/down when needed only to stabilize and use the Botanicare Cal/Mag but don't go overboard for fast results. Use as needed as well and be on the look out for healthy recovery signs. I found a good deal on the canfinder app from a store who ships nationwide. Have a good day man, Happy Growing

So is cal/mag a supplemental kind of thing? Would it help before we get the ph down? Should I try bringing the Ph down and seeing if that helps, or do I definitely need to get cal/mag. Just spending more and more everyday haha

So my nutes def have calcium and magnesium. I would think I shouldn't need to supplement, I just need to lower the ph so the plants can use what's available? IMG_4006.JPG

Yeah, you can start with just getting the pH back in line. If your using RO water, adding some extra calmag is almost a requirement, but based on the size of your plant and the amount of stuff in your nutes, you should be ok without needing to add more calmag. You are correct with what you're thinking, your plant most likely has everything it needs, just that with the pH being too high, your plant can't take it in even though it's physically there at the roots. Certain nutrients/elements can only be absorbed/used by the plant when its within a specific ph range. I hope this helps. Good luck man and happy growing

I'm a lady hahaha thank you! We're using tap water, our water is pretty decent tested the ppm and what not. Thank you! I figured the ph was going to be a problem! I appreciate the help. I'm a nervous newbie mom hahaha if it doesn't level out when we get the ph fixed I'll probably be getting some cal/mag!

Im getting the same thing on my autoflower T5 grow vid here--->
Was Cal/Mag and over watering.....yes you can over water in coco....wait until the top layer has dried a little bit before soaking her again around a quarter inch... but at the same time dont let her dry out....just enough to let fresh air into the roots before you soak her again. Keep your PH below 6.5 and above 5.5 and check your run off ph to see exactly what is happening. CAL MAG and PH for sure......are you planning on LST? my vids will cover all this.....undated bi weekly:) hope this helps

Oh, I also forgot to mention one of the most important things that I had a hard time grasping. Most of the leaves that are affected that have damage can't undo the damage and won't go back to normal, if the problem with the pH is corrected some of the affected leaves may still go down hill, but the newer growth should be good looking. Get the pH back in line and once that's fixed it shouldn't spread to any other leaves but the ones that are affected now won't recover. So it may still look like the problem is there. I hope this makes sense.

It does! Super helpful I only have one or two affected right now so I'm glad we caught it early. Any thoughts on using lemon juice until the ph down arrives? It may be a few more days, amazon is fucking me with the holiday.

Hey just watched your video!! Thanks that looks sick. We just started looking into topping and what not and that seems like a fool proof method!

Call mag ph are correct! Also make sure to bring up ec when using veg bloom and add more calmag cause the v b dont habe enough cal mag is best taken at 6-6.2

Got the ph down and everyone is happy. Not using any cal mag right now. Don't see any reason to since they all look great, but correct me if I'm wrong. The only thing is literally all my stems are kind of purple IMG_4305.JPGIMG_4297.JPG

what does ec stand for?
EC value
The acronym stands for Electric Conductivity. Marijuana plants that go through a rapid growth and flower period need to have plenty of nutrients. To measure the nutritional value (the actual nutrient salts), you’ll need to use an EC meter.

Unambiguous values for the number of nutrient salts in a solution are difficult to indicate. The EC also depends on the size of the marijuana plant, the amount of water and the number of times you drip, the lighting, the natural EC values of the tap water and the humidity levels in your growing space. All this determines how much water and nutrition a marijuana plant really needs.
