I went and picked up a bail of promix and a bag of blood meal and bone meal. how much of each should I add? also is there anything else I should get to go in it too? and with promix do you keep the ph the same as soil? also what would be a good fert to use? im trying to go organic this time.

Read the bag the Blood & Bone meal came in... It's something like: 1 Tablespoon per cubic foot or gallon... add on the light side, 1/2 to 3/4 strength...Your plants will be good in this soil for 'weeks' without ferts...Good Luck man...

get some dolomite lime to regulate your ph

Also look up subcools super soil either on here or google or youtube.

Thats one of the ultimate soil mixes available and you already have half of the ingredients.

Subcools scool of dank on youtube should help.

Id say you have quite a bit of stuff missingf if you plan to make an all around strong soil. Now if you plan to fertilize during the cycle you should be just fine. Might I suggest Micro-Nutrients? You can buy them at lowes or home depot

im either thinking about picking up the fox farm trio or GO box what should I pick?
If you are trying to do an organic soil grow you won't need the fox farm/floranova/GO nutes.
Mixed properly the most you might need to do is top dress with a bit of bat guano mid/late flower.

I suggest you check out Sub-Cool's recipe for Super Soil for a truly organic run.

GreatWhites's right. With a good soil mix you would need zero nutes. Buy some Espmoa, perlite, what you have and and mix it all together. Lets it sit for a month or so to let the Espoma break down, and you should have a decent start at a soil. Truthfully you should do some research for what you may be missing. Probably need some type of shell for calcium. Epsom salt for Mg. But the Espoma is an all around fert so it'll start you off right.
