Little White Bugs

I am trying to grow some pole beans and tomatoes. There these little white bugs that look like they are leaving white shit all over my plants. Is there any thing to get rid of them.

If they are white then start to turn green and get wings you have fruit flies and those are a pain to get rid of. You'll have to clean the whole area and depending how big the plants are wash them down.

there are some systemics that are able to be used on edibles. bring in a sample of the plant (in a plastic bag of course) to your local garden center. they will diagnose it and suggest some products to get rid of them.

i had to use a systemic on my roses as the aphids and whiteflies were infesting them big time. after about a week, the systemic kicked in and they are 90% gone. manageable.
