Hello first timer indoor micro stealth op going on and a earlier today i noticed a yellow spotting on the lower leaves of one of my 2 week old plants. It seems to be spreading and is now affecting other leaves. I am currently awaiting a PH tester to test the PH but have only been watering it using distilled water, the second plant is growing fine and isnt showing any of the same symptoms. please let me know what you think from the photo.
Thanks!!IMAG1032.jpg

With a plant that young, chances are that your ph is out of range.
yeah thats what im thinking as well but im waiting for the PH pen to come in. But the thing is both plants are on the same soil being watered the same distilled water and look at the difference And the guy earlier said i might need to give it its first feeding should i do that as well and do it without the help of a ph pen? Because its spreading pretty quickly look at what happened overnight. Im also including a picture of the healthy plant its next to which is under the exact same conditions. And i would be using Maxigro from general Hydroponics.

get some decent soil and a pot and repot them...is that yard dirt?
No not yard dirt its some Root Organics by Aurora that a guy at the Hydroshop recommended me.

My friend that does soil uses Roots Organics, has had amazing results.
Yeah thats what the guy at the store said. Did your friend have to continue feeding it with added nutrients about 2.5 weeks in? Whats your opinon on the spreading discoloring im on the verge of giving them a 1/4 feeding before the PH pen gets here tomorrow. or should i wait?

I grow only in hydro but that doesn't look like PH problems to me... give it 1/4 nutes imo. I'll ask my buddy when I talk to him.

Ok guys so i just fed my babies 1/4 dosage of Maxigrow. I couldnt test PH but im using distilled water. I fed them as i but them into their 8 hour night cap. Will the color return the affected leaved or are they gonna stay like that? && Just a question for you guys is it best to feed/water a plant when the lights are on? or is there no difference??

Transplant them ... Too easy to overfeed them in such a shallow container.
A simple premium soil can carry a young plant WITHOUT adding anything.
Forget that distilled water , plants do fine on tap ( once you PH ) . You water your grass and roses with the shit and they dont complain.

I would transplant them , use a little water with a little CALMAG ... Let the plant pull nutes from the medium. You can grow a plant for weeks before beginning to exhaust base medium of most good potting mixes. Foliar a little Kelp and you are golden.

Copy sounds good what size pot do you recommend for its size right now I'm going to try to lst them don't want them taller than maybe 3 feet. And what is your opinon on the Roots Organics that I am currently using do I need better soil than that?

I use 3 gallon smart pots - or if you have plastic pots.
I am not familar with it ( but look at its ingredients ) .
It actually has a good list of essential nutes , so i am gonna say it is that distilled water.
Ph your water around 6.3-6.5 ( tap )
Add a little CalMag to help combat lockout.

Using distilled water is also part of the problem too , since it is stripped of minerals and other impurities. And this CAN cause a lockout of nutes.
