Living Soil in container question... please help!

Yo peoples, hope everyone is cool! So i've been using coco based media for over 15 yrs and have finally made the switch to a living soil! have been using lots of amazing amendments, fertilisers/bio char/cover crops.. the lot! Really loving it, clicks with me and very excited to see hown it turns out, blown away so far..
The thing i'm not sure about is.... I only have 1 room (and a tiny clone cupboard) so I have to use the main room to dry everything in.. now, when i've chopped everything down, will my 15gallon smart pots with the living soil etc, be ok sitting in the dark for a week or 2 whilst drying? Or do they require light to keep going? I dont want to damage the micro organisms etc, but I'm not sure if I have any alternative options.. I can keep them all moist, but would keeping them in the dark whilst drying make my thriving pots go almost inert through lack of light?? Any ideas/advice is so welcome!! its better to store in the dark. just not too cold. make sure u mix the pile up if it stays too wet too long so it doesnt go anerobic. unless you have no till.

you're going to end up fighting humidity levels if trying to dry your harvest while keeping big pots wet... May have to figure out something to fight that.

if you can go anaerobic I'd give them a good EM-1 soak and then wrap them up in plastic wrap, etc to keep all the moisture in and the humidity (and possible mold or funk!) out of the drying space. Seems like asking for trouble IMO.

im thinking of putting a layer of black plastic ontop of each pot to try hold in the humidity and so they dont dry out as quick.. and a fuck load of mulch..

I personally would be a worry-wart about having them in same room as drying, no other choice at all? Even foregoing the microbial activity knowing you can always recharge/kickstart things again later - just bring the life back. I'd almost entertain a garage or outdoors or something to find an alternative...

The lack of light would not be a problem. The temperature is more important and moisture level. Happy gardening

I know, so am I, trust me! Just dont have any spare room for my 15 gallon pots in my small house, in uk bit different to the space you guys have! also, will be late december so could be real cold here, also not sure what the neighbours would think of some big pots suddenly turning up in my small backyard! Would love to have space, but unfortunately it's something I dont have!
