Hi guys currently building a room up in the loft , think shes almost ready! After some reasurrance/tips off you guys
The loft itself is uninsulated
Ive built the room using the traingle support beams as the frame , on the front of the beams ive attached 10mm plywood , to the front of this ive stapled thermal insulation roll and taped over all the joins with aluminium tape , on the back of the plywood/inbetween the beams i have 50mm celotex then on the back of this ive stapled more thermal insulation roll to create a coat aroundthw groom , any gaps have been filled with expanding foam and all joins be it between the plywood or celotex have been taped over with aluminuim foil
Plan is to run 1 600w hps , will this insulation be sufficient? More so the copper choppers im worried about , i understand the loft will become bollock freezing in the winter and like a sauna in the summer i will eventually sort it out when the moneys there but for now im hoping what ive built will be good to get me through without melting any dreaded snow if it happens
6" inline phresh hyperfan for extraction which runs around 575m3 at full whack , i do have a speed controller , intake i have two 4inch fans which are both two speed and run at 175m3 a piece at full whack
