As above, this is my first lollipop attempt. I still have to go through both plants one more time, I did not want to stress the plants too much since they're on their flowering period (day 16).

What do you guys think?

EDIT: I have no idea of if this is the right board to post about stuff like lollipopping but give me mercy if I am in the wrong place :peace::mrgreen:

I cut only the lower part of the plants away (1/4) and from what I can see they like it a lot. I noticed that the plants are looking happier since they don't have to carry a shitload of leaves & crappy budsites that would never produce anything good enough, also the air ventilation underneath the plants is a lot better. I also noticed that the soil does not stay wet as long it did before. Im definetly no professional but I really experience that the plants like it. But I cut it very gently. Hope this helps you in any way.

Yeah well I've decided not to cut "too much" leaves since I believe the leaves are pure energy for the plant. Honestly I don't know which way is better but thats what I believe.
leaving lower growth will give you a bit of leeway come flowering if you start to see some mild deficiencies the plant will take from the oldest growth.

My plants usually self lollipop as I have a problem with spilling nutes on lower leaves. That and too little N cause the lower leaves to yellow and not recover. I would not suggest this method however.

That was my plan too until I noticed leaves drooping and dying here and there so incase of any possible molding I decided to do a little haircut :)

The leaves started to die in random places and not only right under the plants so thats one reason why I did it too

Nice plant lookin good. :-D

I have understood that it can take up from 2 to even 3 weeks before pistils start growing rapidly.

Here's some pictures of my 2 plants. I defoliated them but left some leaves on them. I dont want them strip naked

EDIT: I count 29 tops in total which of 5 tops were a bit lower.
