you take all the vegitation of the bottom third of the plant, cause light dont penetrate to those bottom buds anyway..
this causes all the energy to go into the top 2/3 of the plant.. producing larger buds..
air flows better around the bottom of your plants also, preventing co2 toxicity around the root area

i try to do this no later than the first week of flower .. ideally the day or two before switching to 12/12

yeah the only harm in doing it early is growth slows a little but it still can always get taller and put on new growth

what kind of yields can you expect from that method i know that's a vague but generally speaking in the right conditions

i suggest lollipopping any time you are using hid light that cannot penetrate to the bottom of your plants . it increases growth potential to main colas and air circulation above the root zone..


dro yeild is determined on genetics and experiance so that question is basicaly immpossible to answer,,,for me anyway. i am no weedologist proffessor..lol
