Hahaha Jimmy. Yeah I need to get the 'butter wouldn't melt in your mouth' picture of you out of my head.
Alfred E. ? So you don't look like that I take it?
Oh that was funny. :mrgreen::blsmoke::peace:
Well , Lacy I am an old hippy I guess, we just never use the term "hippy" then, thought it was just for "Life Magazine" readers. I haven't looked like Alfred E. since puberty, but at 12 that could have been me,,,

Well, when I was about 12 years old I looked like Alfred E. except with thick glasses just to add that extra touch of nerdiness. I grew out of it though.I still wear glasses of course but I choose the frames now, and I'm no longer chubby and round-faced , :joint: :peace::joint:

Yeah I was kinda on the nerdy side as a kid as well. Hell. I am the nerdy side now but I don't really give a bleep.

That sounds cute Jimmy. I also wear glasses now for reading and tv but I can only imagine the geeky ones my parents would have chosen for me. :evil:

;) Oh the things we remember :mrgreen:

Later:roll::peace:

My fiance has long hair and a beard... would have it no other way.. LOL.. if you look at history long hair became looked down upon in Western culture only with the beginning of World War I- from which most of the short hair cuts came from the mandatory buzz for military personnel, if you didn't have short hair at this time it was assumed you were not patriotic. Let it also be noted that throughout history hair was cut short to symbolically remove individualism and as punishment...Obviously comfort and personal choice have been factors throughout history as well- but even in cultures where all hair was removed (such as Egyptian culture) long haired wigs were used. Long head hair has always been appreciated throughout history, it is one of the traits that makes us so different... could you imagine the lion shaving off it's mane? lol...

never knew hair defined me or my individuality. funny...i thought who i am defines me???
LOL.. but that's not how society works. You see, society doesn't care who you really are- you are put into a group based on apparent factors then treated as such is true. Not letting any of these views effect you will make you an actual individual.. go figure. lol.

I love my deville more than life itself. <3
I just got it. its funny.... I traded my grandparents a really beat up crap camry for it. haha. that was my old car but my grandpa fixes up cars so he was stoked to have a project car and i was stoked to have a car that was a 2001 instead of 1996. lol. not to mention the camry might get $3000 on a sale and my deville would be at least $9-10k. but Im not selling it.

Im planning on getting some nice rims for it. dubs of course. and putting a better stereo in it. The speakers already bump so i probably wont touch those.

I want to get the black leather interior changed to pink! but i wont be able to afford anything like that for a long time.
We took a deville all the way to socal once. Best roadtrip of my life. Who would have thought, heated AND COOLED seats. And of course it slapped going down the street.

I think strength of character defines a person more than their appearance but I do have to agree that society does indeed like to place us neatly into categories. Whatelse is new though??? They do this with just about everything else.

Jimmy is a long haired freaky dude. ;)

I prefer short hair, mines kinda long at the moment. I consider it long when it's starting to get in the way of your sight. Short hair is easier to maintain. I know loads of guys who have long hair and quite frankly they can't look after it. Most girls keep their hair immaculate washing it everyday and brushing it.
