******BEFORE YOU SAY CHECK THE TRICHOMES WITH A MAGNIFYING GLASS******

These plants are only 5 weeks into flowering so I'm sure the trichomes havent turned cloudy or even amber... but these 2 plants have NO white pistils.... I have a feeling this is from the cold but I'm not sure.... will the hairs stay on the bud, or fall off if I wait another week or two until I harvest?

Here's one of the plants...

And the other...

And feel free to comment on the quality of my bud, I'm fine with criticism!

Don't judge by pistil color, go by trich's. Pistil color is more of a genetic thing rather than a indicator to being ready.

Looks like it needs another several weeks. If it is Sativa dom you may be looking at up to 12 weeks flower it just depends on the strain and trich development. Go pick up a loup so you can check your trich's they are chear at Radio Shack.

Yes that is because of the cold. And it will ultimatley kill your plant (canada). I'm below you in wa state and its already cold as hell at night. Its only gonna get colder in weeks to come.

So in short its not ready yet even tho your hairs are red. But you also probly won't be able to finish because of the cold. Sorry for the sad news.

They look fine, and they look sativa dominant...no?. I'm well south of you, and I don't even attempt sativa in-ground projects. My in-ground kush has at least 3 weeks to go, add another 3 weeks for such strains as certain haze etc and I'm looking at early Nov to chop. That's 2 weeks after average first freeze. 35 days is too soon, only a handful of strains finish that quickly.

It`s some bagseed that I randomly planted.... I`m not sure on the strain.
Unfortunately I only have about 2, MAYBE 3 weeks left of flowering

Extend you flowering time, protect it from the cold. It doesn't take much once the root system is set and established. I would build a make shift little green house type clear cover over it and get the most out of her you can.

What about all the red hairs though? There`s litterally no more white pistils on the plant that can turn red.
pretty sure that they are pink pistils, meaning they will still brown off and receed ...just rather than being white they are pink or purplish...

and lots of strains will have a quick phenotype within, i have had a white widow that finished in 4 weeks and currently my qwubble gets chopped by day 40 the latest.
