Looking for a cloning guru to see if I'm on the right track

You said you took clones during flower because you couldn't keep them long. But it takes longer to grow clones when taken during flower. That's what doesn't make sense.
OK so tell me what you would do in my situation

taking clones when the plant is about half way thru flowering is monster cropping, don't take too many to minimize the stress. It'll take 'em an extra week or two to root up since they have to revert back to the veg state but once they do the growth is explosive. The only reason I know any of this is cause I've done it more than once with no issues

Thanks Hillbilly..Im looking at taking just 3 or 4 and right now the plant is 2 weeks into 12/12. I have lots of time for it to root so if it takes an extra week or 2 so be it

If you want...read my first post when I started this thread so I don't have to go thru this all again. Its pretty simple actually
Yeah I was the first person to tell you to take clones during veg and you argued. Then everyone else said the same thing.

I'd probably take 'em about 4 weeks into flowering and by the time you chop the girls in flower they should be rooted up

It wont take clones any longer to root 2 weeks into flowering than it does in veg . The time is for the clone to revert back to a vegetative state after the rooting. Hell I find they root faster after 2 weeks into flowering.

LOL I didnt argue...just told you the situation and now Ive gotten plenty of ideas from plenty of people who take clones during flowering (Thanks Guys!) So go argue with them if you want..everything in life isn't cut and dry, deadgro and I think most people on here agree with that and sometimes ya have to think "outside the box". But thanks for your input anyway

We all make mistakes when we first start out. But there's a right and a wrong way. You'll learn.

Now deadgro we can continue this nit picky bullshit exchange or you can just chill out and accept the fact that I appreciate what input you gave and leave it at that or keep it up and prove your value to this forum

If pistil tufts have started the re-veg will take at least a month before you see any new growth. By taking clones in flower cycles you INCREASE the risk of weak genetics intersexing (hermaphrodite), You increase the susceptibility of disease and pest infestation. You DECREASE "vigor" significantly IMO, vigor that will take generations to come back around... You're best left to cloning a vegging plant, IMHO only clone whilst in flower to "preserve" genetics... Good Luck...
My EXACT thoughts...

I have large purpetual grow, i do a 120 EZ cloner every week and empty one every week been doing this for so long its a job now granted a job most of you would die for its a job. White nubs in 7 ponytails in 14 clones in flower if its the only way but to carry on but easyer to take the day of change and take a few more than you need only the strong survive if it struggles there it will always struggle so always take more than you needIMG_1390[1].jpg
