i made some brownies but it was the box and i use both the 2/3cups of oil and added 2/3cup of canna butter it came out good but was a different texture then when used with just oil. i have a good amont of butter left just about 2/3 to 3/4 cup. if any one has actually made the recipe they are posting and how it turned out let me know. i basically need the ingridents and the temp you cooked em on.

Here's the method I use with great results, found the potency to be excellent...plus you can add more cannabutter if you want a more potent batch, but I would recommend making it this way first as they are already pretty potent this way:

Chef Ganja Easy Cannabutter Cookie Recipe:

What You'll Need:
Electric Beater
Medium Size Bowl
Large Size Bowl
Cookie Sheet or baking tray
Ingredients Listed Below

Mix these Dry Ingredients in a medium size bowl:
2 1/4 Cups All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon salt

Beat/Mix All These Wet Ingredients In A Larger Bowl:
1 Stick Cannabutter (Soften at Room Temperature)
1 Stick Regular Butter (Soften at Room Temperature)
3/4 Regular Sugar
1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 teaspoon's of vanilla extract (Tip* Add an extra teaspoon to hide "weed" taste)
2 large eggs (Egg substitute works fine, that's what I use.)

-Pre-heat Oven to 375 Degrees F.

-Now slowly add the dry mix to your larger bowl of wet mix....beat well.

-Once you beat/mix well and it looks like regular cookie dough, add 1 package of any brand chocolate chips you desire. Mix with spoon well.
(Note: You can throw in walnuts, or substitute any other chips (White Chocolate, Butterscotch, etc..) that your heart desires.

-Spoon finished cookie dough on cookie sheet (I put 6-8 cookies on a standard tray at a time. You can make them as big or small as you want!)

-Bake in oven 7 minutes. (1 or 2 minutes longer for larger cookies.)

-Take out and let cool for a few minutes.

Eat 1 cookie and wait 45 min - 1 hour and enjoy yourself!

I've used this recipe for years with excellent results and found 1 cookie is perfect for me. Some newbies eat only half a cookie and still get great results. ***Hot Tip***: Freeze finished cookies to preserve shelf life. I've had cookies store in the freezer up to six months, took one out, let defrost on the counter for 20 minutes and ate it. Still potent and taste great!

Check out some of the combinations I make here: My marijuana cookies.

Hope that helps,
Chef Ganja

I personally prefer the taste of using only 1 stick of cannabutter, but if the taste of cannabutter doesn't bother you go for 2 sticks. IMO using 1 stick "mask" the taste better and is plenty potent. Happy "Baking" :)

i actually like the taste when i made brownies i used the mix with what it called for which was like 2/3 cup oil 2 eggs and 1/4 cup water and i added 2/3 cup of canna butter also. came out real canna tasting but good.

i just got a new job that i will be standing extended periods of time so i would like something to be a little stong.

I'm confused. All you do is replace the oil or butter with ganja oil or butter. You can make any recipe. What's the problem?

when i made mine i used both what the box called for and added butter, didnt come out to good. got me feeling good and comfertable. but the taste just was not there. im asking for recipes that people have actually used and have tested the outcome. better understanding?

Right. So next time instead of adding more butter/oil to the recipe, simply substitute normal butter/oil for ganja butter/oil. Of course if you add twice as much oil/butter as the recipe calls for it's gonna come out all wack.

I've made brownies, chocolate chip cookies, shortbread cookies, snickerdoodles, etc that I've found basic non-ganja recipes online and just sub the butter for ganja butter. Simple.

These are shortbread. Super simple only 4 ingredients: butter, flour, sugar, vanilla.

the recipe called for oil instead of butter and i olny made canna butter so i just added the oil to get the right texture/raising in the mix and the butter for the med effect next time i might just make oil and do the box recipe but for now i will use the butter and make some homemade but thank you for your insight.

could you also say about what temp and how long? and portions that you used? i have all four and just ran out of brownies,

For the brownies, I would have just melted the butter to an oil consistency and subbed the melted butter for oil.

I used this recepie for the shortbread cookies, and just subbed butter for canna butter. Including the vanilla, and chocolate chips (optional) I guess it's 6 ingredients: http://www.joyofbaking.com/shortbreads/shortbreadcookies.html

Shortbread Cookies:

2 cups (260 grams) all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon (2 grams) salt
1 cup (2 sticks) (226 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup (60 grams) powdered (confectioners or icing) sugar
1 teaspoon (4 grams) pure vanilla extract
For Chocolate Dipped Shortbreads:
6 ounces (180 grams) semi sweet or chocolate, finely chopped

the flour with the salt. Set aside.
Shortbreads: In a separate bowl
In the bowl of your electric mixer (or with a hand mixer), beat the butter until smooth and creamy (about 1 minute). Add the sugar and beat until smooth (about 2 minutes). Beat in the vanilla extract. Gently stir in the flour mixture just until incorporated. Flatten the dough into a disk shape, wrap in plastic and chill the dough for at least an hour or until firm.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C) with the rack in the middle of the oven. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
On a lightly floured surface roll out the dough into a 1/4 inch (.6 cm) thick circle. Cut into rounds or other shapes using a lightly floured. Place on the prepared baking sheets and place in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes. (This will firm up the dough so the cookies will maintain their shape when baked.) Bake for 8 - 10 minutes, or until cookies are very lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack.
For Chocolate Dipped Shortbreads: Place 3 ounces (90 grams) of the finely chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl and place it over a saucepan of simmering water. Once the chocolate has melted, remove it from the heat. Add the remaining chocolate and stir with a wooden spoon until it has completely melted and is smooth and glossy. Taking one cookie at a time, dip one end of each cookie in the melted chocolate and place it on a parchment lined baking sheet. Once all the cookies have been dipped in the chocolate, place the baking sheets in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened.
Shortbread cookies with keep in an container for about a week or they can be frozen.
Makes about 20 shortbread cookies

it came out wonderful. used the dark chocolate and with the penut butter it was good. if you eat one of the big ones you are good for 2-3 hours. smoke after you eat them and it is even better taste wise you can hardly taste the butter but get that marijuana cooked smell/taste when you breathe through your nose when you chew.

first batch i gave my mom a bite and she said it was griddity and very oily (used both 2/3 of veg oil for what it called for and added 2/3 cup of butter.)

this time i did it the other way she actually liked it and it had more butter but it was mixed into the penut butter.
