Not the actual seed. He’s looking at getting into the CBD Hemp market and wanted to know the best breeders of strains that are compliant with 0.3% thc law for grown flower.

I'd like a pure CBD strain with no THC.
20:1 doesn't mean diddly squat to me. If it's 0.03% THC then it's only got 0.60% CBD and that's useless. I'm looking for something like 0.03% THC and at least 15% CBD so I can get a decent yield when I extract it to oils.
Some lab testing by breeders charging outrageous prices for seeds is in order. I can get my stuff sampled for $60Can and another 60 for terpene profiles so they could blow the price of a few seeds to do the same.
Hell of a lot more money in seeds than pot these days when one plant can produce a few thousand seeds to be sold at 10 - $20 apiece and usually F1s or F2s that any pollen chucker can make. That's what a lot of these 'breeders' are. I'm sitting on a few hundred F2 fem autos I made last year but have lost interest in autos. These are from a breeder originally and were pretty stable to start with but hemp farms started up near me so can't grow outside up north no more and don't want autos for indoors. GG#4 auto x Mazar Al-Sharif auto. 3 weeks to bud start and grew only 32" tall outdoors. I did the breeding inside tho.
The two in front are them. Fans removed and cropped the next day. 6oz dry each so not tons but I liked 'em. No CBD tho.

Most industrial hemp grows very tall and spindly with little flower and a max of 6% CBD. Hard to buy in small quantities too as they are for farms. Like you I want some decent CBD yields. Most people don't want to be smoking flower with CBD only so size and CBD content are more important than bag appeal. All mine gets made into oil for use in meds. Snip off anything without sugar and wash the oils off the goody.
Some hemp is grown for seed so larger buds are wanted to increase the amount of seed per acre. A quarter section of fiber hemp was grown just 6 miles from my little acreage last summer and totally screwed my outdoor girls so it's gonna be opium poppies this year!
