Looking for Housing or Land Assistance in DEN AREA

Hello Fellow Farmers

Please dont judge me by my post numbers, i have been very involved in the cultivation culture for years. This is my first time posting, because Im loosing motivation and am really trying out my resources.

I have moved to the denver area recently for just too many reasons, finally cut my cord on cali.

I have been searching for 3 weeks now in areas such as evergreen and morrison. I am loosing hope on finding a quiet secluded spot. I am completely descreet but love the peace of mind of being just out of the city. Im now just trying to find a house in the city with a basement to get something going and stop living in my truck and wasting my time. I could even use some land and get a camper and some containers. I can provide references, proof of employment from cali that i just left (gf has ca disability still) and cash needed to move in. I am a super clean person with and take pride in my homes.

Any help on friendly landlords?
or maybe just some encouragement to keep me from moving back to cali

MAYBE if some one needs a house sitter, we can work something out

Thank you for the read.

Posts like these are pretty common bro. everyone is coming out here. its not easy finding mmj friendly landlords. I had a hard time finding a place north of denver. I think it may have something to do with everyone that lost their house in the fires is renting till their houses are rebuilt. I know if you ask landlords over the phone or email about mmj their answer will certainly be no. if your into camping it out. now is the perfect time to start planning a big outdoor grow for next season. Land is dirt cheap in southern co.

Good luck

Thanks, Outs are what everyone does in NorCal but I just haven't heard of ANY since I've been here, ppl say u get caught for sure

I personally like growing outdoors better. It can be a little tricky, snow in october, strains that take too long, etc. Ive grown for three years outside in town, and this is the first year I've had a problem and it wasnt even my fault or anything. Turned out my landlord built his fence ten ft over the property line lol. I have some land in Southern Colorado, and thats where I'll give it a go next year.

ive heard greenhouses are almost mandatory due to weather. thats where cali kills it for sure.
so if i find a private patch in the hills is there a fly-over threat?

I wouldn't say a greenhouse is mandatory unless you have long sativas or are high up in the mountains. Down where they had the waldo fire, they also found 26 acres of ganj I believe. Apparently they'd been growing on the same spot on someones land for the last few years.

so many goods and bads about being in a med state these days. landlords are all on the same page in the last few years and most of them have clauses re: MMJ growing (the amount of damage caused by grows is extensivley known and no one wants to deal with the after affects anymore). Jobs are not only stepping up pee tests, but some are now actively testing hair folicles - talk about a PITA.

land can be bought cheap from CO Springs -> South, if you don't mind being away from the scene. MMJ grown outdoors here, must be non-visible or it is a violation and they will rip your plants up if found. a greenhouse is doable, but security issues will increase your costs a lot. that said, I know a few peeps that grow 1 or 2 in their backyards and keep them trained from being viewed by others. it's not like Cali, outdoor grows are frowned on here. keep it inside and safe and you will grow better/more consistant meds anyways.

Good Luck! Lots of love here in Colorado. personally, I don't care for most of the Cali attitudes (all about "me, my money and what you can do for me" types). spread and share the love!

Dude seems to be having some trouble this year. This isn't california and I'd prefer people not make it like that.

he got busted and ripped. he's filed an injunction of some type against the city. he's a user here, I had a few harsh words with them but realize I was wrong for saying a word. even though that wouldn't change my opinion of it, he and his girlfriend have a 48 plant count.

oh, it gets better I see ;) he'll have a lot of fun and spent a ton of $$ defending the 48count in court, while I wish it on no-one, he better have some good paperwork to back up his condition to justify those #s. $25K minimum to defend I'd say. is it worth it?

like I say ... keep your #s low, tight and outta site, and it will mostly be alright. ;)

man I thought it was illegal to grow outdoors and his thread I think he mentions a charge for growing outdoors. fence to high, mentioned felonies for growing. I guess it's an ongoing thing for him but he stated this has been the roughest year.

it cannot be within visual sight - he is clearly within sight of all neighbors. they also need to be secured, so they don't get .... oh, i don't know .... ripped off??! fence is a local code enforcement issue. If he is claiming 'caregiver', the code officers will have a field day inspecting the entire property inside and out for non-permitted and non-approved work, then slamming him with fines for all of it. who needs 48 OUTDOOR plants to get by for a year? looking at the base of the stalks, he'd get at least 2-4lbs per plant ..... yeah, I swear it's ALL for personal consumption ......

navyseal, didn't mean to jack your thread and the best of luck, but when you make it out here please don't make it another cali with a huge plant count.
