Looking for Some Tips!

Hey everyone, i germinated a seed for a good 4 days until i planted it in a bucket. its been growing for a good week outside but im looking for any tips to help make the yield on my plant the best it can be. im not even 100% sure if it is a female, but i got it from a really nice bag of tree i bought a couple weeks ago. i know this isn't the best picture but here she is! :)

Cheers! :joint:

you should always plant a few beans just incase you don't get a female then all that time is down the drain

Yeah unfortunately the batch of stuff i had gotten only came with a single seed in it, so i thought what the hell..it couldn't hurt to give it a shot. Im just looking for any suggestions on growing methods for a nice filled in bushy plant with a decent amount of yield to it because my plant already looks like its elongating a little bit, but thanks man! much appreciated.

If you want it to bush out what i do is get some twist ties and keep lightly bending the tops over and tie each one down as it grows, youll have a bush in no time.. I'm rootin for ya... get it rootin lolol i crack myself up.. sorry man im high

Will that help its yield? and are you talking about tying the leaf to the stem loosely?..also at what time in its growing stage should i start this?

Actually don't tie it to the leaf but tie it toward the top of the plant and light pull it over til its bent to the side (careful not to break) and tie the other end to the rim of the pot that you have put a hole in. Here is a recent clone as I start this process and the other is what it will end up looking like.

It's called LST, or Low Stress Training. Whatever you do not prune it unless it is really necessary(adds time to the grow for recovery), and try to LST it as much as possible during the veg state. Research LST in the search bar it will teach you a lot! I used to think pruning was the way to go, but found out that LST is way less stress, and doesn't add time to the grow.

For LSTing I used a coat hanger cut into 3 sections, and curved one end over to resemble a tent stake, and used those.

Oh!, And here's hoping it's female!

Ya that's what its called lol, I usually let them get around 8 inches tall then I start bending them and at every internode a new shoot will pop up and eventually when that gets tall enough you can bend that too and so on and so on.. Also i usually don't prune anything except for the spindley shoots at the bottom otherwise a leaf here and there to get more light to other sites.. LEAVES=PHOTOSYTHESIS WHICH = BIG ASS BUDZ....

and by the way, i appreciate both your guys help very much! i cant wait to start Lst, it looks like it really fills your plant in for a good yield! :)

I used coat hangers cut into lengths, and the bent the ends to hold the plant. Just insert into the soil, and hook around the stalk. You can do this right up until flowering starts. After that though, just make sure it holds the plant down, and yer good.

You don't untie it you leave it tied and with new string tie the next shoot, then new string on the next and so forth until its as big as you want. But remember it will more than likely double possibly tripl in size during flowering. Good luck on your grow and hoping for you its a girl

Very nice, thanks everyone! ill keep you up to date on the plant, and if its a female theres no doubt in my mind that she will be a beauty. im very happy to hear about all the success's on everyones plants!
